This review is long overdue as it has been almost 2 years. I waited to ensure everything was running and broken in. We did have 1 warranty issue right at the year mark and they fixed it quickly. (Defective valve) The quality of work and professionalism were top notch and all timelines were met. They could improve a bit on the communication from the office as they were unclear at times but a couple of phone calls and we were all good. If I had to do it all over again I would choose Edgewater hands down. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive but in my opinion were the best and worth every dollar. If you are thinking of a pool call Edgewater. You will be very happy!

We live in Mesquite, NV and hired Edgewater to install an inground pool. Since our knowledge of pool construction was negligible we depended on Dan to lead us through what we feared would be a maze. Edgewater and Dan did an excellent job on our pool and holding our hand through the 10 week construction. Construction crew was amazing and hardworking. The pool is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Our only complaint is why we never hired Edgewater to do this years ago. Thanks guys!

We contacted Edgewater Pools in May 2019 and Dan Edgington made an appointment with us on May 1st and came to our house in Mesquite, NV to plan our pool. We liked what Dan presented and we agreed to purchase that same day. Dan returned with the contract on May 8th and we signed it. What can I say about Edgewater. From the time we walked in and talked to the owner, to the time Alejandro instructed us in pool school, this company was top notch. Dan was great at putting together our vision of how we wanted our backyard to look. Not only were they able to create the pool, but also the landscaping for the entire yard. Dan listened to what we wanted and designed the plans right there in the office. He started on the permits while we waited for HOA approval and got started right after we were approved. His office communicated with us through the whole process, design selection, when crews would be on the site, what phase the project was on, payment requirements during each phase, they and answered any questions we had during the project. Shawna and Ellie were great! We signed in February, the crew started in March and it was complete by mid-May. Also, the project managers were on site on Tuesdays and Fridays to answer any questions we had through the whole process. They did such a great job and worked with us with on a couple of small changes with the plants. Also, at the end of the project, they have a punch list which contains any loose ends that needed to be completed. The employees, the crew, and the owner all paid special attention to detail. I am a very organized person and I was pleased on how well and smooth the project was executed. We are extremely happy with the outcome and have received many compliments from family and friends. My husband and I highly recommend Edgewater Pools and Landscaping!

My wife and I just moved into the Summerlin area. Edgewater Custom Pools built our pool and Edgewater did a fantastic job. We just love our pool. The entire process, which took about one year, as our home was being built, was seamless. From the first time we went to Edgewater’s office to meet with Dan and his team, we were made to feel welcome. The team took the time to walk us through our design ideas, and then come up with a design, based on their professional experience, to give us the pool of our dreams. They went with us to a local nursery as well to help us pick out the various plants/trees for the landscaping they did around our property.

The final product is wonderful. Excellent craftsmanship and customer service. We were kept informed by Edgewater of their progress during the entire process. This was made even more important given that were out of state as our home and pool were being built. The pool has exceeded our wildest expectations. Edgewater paid attention to detail and it shows int he final product. Also, their representative, who gave us the orientation on how the pool works was very patient and thorough.

Edgewater Pools is by far the best in town. As we all know, there are many shady pool builders out there. As this was my first pool build, I knew nothing. Dan (owner) and his crew to include his administrative staff displayed professionalism and patience. They explained every phase of the build, the different crews were respectful and cleaned up daily. Before signing with Edgewater I shopped many pool companies and had concerns. When I met with Dan he asked me “why haven’t you made a decision yet?” I said “because no one listens to what I want”. Dan listened and was very patient. He drew a design, we changed a few things and we came up with the design that when I saw it I knew it was “the one”. After signing the contract and starting the different phases in this process EVERYTHING that was communicated to me was true. The different phases all came into play as he said they would. The entire staff at Edgewater is wonderful, they take your phone calls, they respond to emails, their in house subs are courteous and respectful..and clean up after they are done, they truly deliver. I also hired them for my landscaping project. I was able to choose my plants at the nursery with the help from Stevens, and he definitely helped me make the right decision. Mike, Dan’s brother, has taken care of the project as if the pool was being built in his backyard.
I do my homework and I dig deep before making a decision. I have recommended Edgewater to the VP of Sales of the builder of my new home and so many more that ask me “who is building your pool?”..I am getting the word out.

When we decided to buy a house in Mesquite, the yard had to be big enough to have a pool. When we found the lot we liked we contacted Dan at Edgewater Pool to ask him if the lot was big enough. He said send me the lot plan and we did. He contacted us within 24 hours and said no problem. This was in May and our move-in date was November. He sent us plans within a week and we were thrilled with what he drew. When we moved here 11/9/17 Dan was all ready to submit the plans to the architectural committee for approval. The process was painless with Dan’s help. The pool was started on time and we were pleased with each contractor and the timing of the project. Our pool is beautiful and we are so pleased we chose Edgewater Pools.

Edgewater Custom Pools:

The experience overall with the process of building the pool has been positive. From picking the details, to the workers, to the finished product itself it has all been enjoyable and smooth. Dan has been very accommodating with our work schedule. Also Dan has been great with communicating via phone and email by responding within an appropriate time. This is the first time going through this process for us; and Dan and the rest of the staff was able to go through the process step by step with us.
Picking out materials was a little difficult because it’s hard to imagine all the tiling and specific detail without seeing it as a whole: however, Dan was able to provide samples and examples of different pools, which made it easier for us to visualize the small detail as a whole. Also picking out the plants was, at first, very overwhelming because we had no idea what kind of trees or plants would look nice, be appropriate, or would work well with the type of landscape we have. Dan was able to walk through the nursery and show us plants that fit in to our description of what we would want and show us other plants that would complement the plants we chose. Working with Dan made the process less tedious and overwhelming and more enjoyable and exciting.
After the pool was finished they walked us through the whole backyard and they were able to accommodate any changes that we may have wanted to change and they were able to fix all of it within a timely manner. Once that was completed, they came back to educate us on all the pumps and heater. The representative, Marco, that came out to show us the workings of the pumps was professional and patient. Marco showed us everything about the pool we would need to know at our pace. We felt like he took his time and elaborated anything we were unable to understand completely. He made the process easy going and clear to understand.
In the end we enjoyed the process and end product of the pool with the help of Dan and the staff at Edgewater. I would highly recommend this company to friends, family and anyone else that would want a positive experience, when building their pool.

Edgewater Custom Pools and Landscaping provided us with excellent service and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Less than two months ago our back yard was essentially rubble. Now, it is a beautiful place to relax, complete with a pool, patio and outdoor eating area.

The people have been a delight to work with.

Dan was great at helping us *see* our back yard, even right at the very beginning when we were just playing around with concepts. He took the time to walk us through the various options and through some (Very cool) simulation software we were able to walk through the design to be sure that it was exactly what we wanted. It was great in having access to such powerful tools when bringing our vision to reality.

In terms of implementation and managing the construction timeline, Mike, Dan and their people know what they’re doing. Things moved very quickly and they made an effort to ensure the pool was finished as early as possible so that we could enjoy it while the rest of the landscaping was finished.

Any and all concerns were listened to and acted on promptly and we felt that we had placed our yard in good hands.

We’re just a few days off finished now and we couldn’t be happier with our back yard. I’d highly recommend this company

Dear Dan & Mike,

Should have written sooner but time got away from me.  Just wanted to let you know how happy we are with our new Edgewater Pool.  Now that the temperature is nearing 100 degrees, the pool is in the perfect place to be.  When we first called about getting a pool, Dan was very responsive and showed us some ideas about layout and design based on our desires and yard space.  The drawings we received showing the pool and waterfall concept were exactly what we were looking for.  The estimate was right on our target for time and funding.  Work began right when you said it would, and was on schedule for the entire project.  the crews were experienced, well lead, and I did not see anyone wasting time.  I must confess that I was a little doubtful right in the middle of the destruct phase when the yard was torn up, trenches are open, and some plants gone.  Mike assured me several times that things would start to look better as the construct phase began, and he was right.  As the pool was being finished and the yard put back together we decided to add a paver walkway around the house.  Your estimate was below others we had received and the work you performed was exactly what we wanted.  Can’t say enough nice things about the entire process.  you kept us informed of what was going to happen, there were no attempts to up sell, and we couldn’t be happier with our pool and waterfall.  And I might add, Hector is doing a great job with the weekly cleaning and maintenance.

We recently moved from Washington DC to Las Vegas. We had our house built and the one thing we wanted was a pool. We were referred to Edgewater Custom Pools. We met with Michael Faulkner and there was no high pressure sales tactics. Michael was exceptional in providing information about the products and the entire process and in a matter of minutes, we had an initial design for not only a pool, but for an entire back yard to include the pool, a spa, a fire bowl, and an outdoor grill/bar. Michael worked with us to create a design that met our vision and budget. He even sent us the design in a YouTube video to give us perspective of the final product. The construction of the pool began shortly after Thanksgiving and was completed by the middle of January. We could not be happier with the final product and we would like to recognize everyone involved with the project. I’M SO THANKFUL I DID!!!!! I am truly amazed that the pool took only 4 weeks from start to finish!! Even my next door neighbor was in shock and she would tell me every time I saw her that she had never seen a pool company build a pool so fast or so well! LOL!! (Believe me…I was originally expecting it to take 5 months based on other people’s horror stories with other pool companies) Thanks to each and everyone of you….Dan…for listening to every detail and designing my dream backyard so meticulously and working within my budget! Mike..for allowing me to make changes in the final stages to my patio and making it more beautiful by suggesting a small retainer wall and planter. Karla, Genesis & Brooke…for keeping me updated with the process, billing and receipts! Marco…for taking care of my concerns; addressing detail and instructing me on my pool equipment. And thank you to all the subcontractors….Each one was pleasant, professional and worked diligently. You truly are #1 in the Customer Service department!! And all my family & friends that have seen my backyard are blown away!
