Earlier this summer we were looking for a contractor to install a swimming pool in our new vacation home my wife and I recently purchased in Mesquite NV.  We looked at several contractors and asked some of our neighbors along with our realtor, and one contractors name kept coming up so we decided to give Edgewater Custom Pools and Landscaping a call.  We scheduled an appointment and the next day a very accommodating individual by the name of Dan showed up to give a us a bid.  When I say he was extremely knowledgeable, polite and helpful, I am understating his visit.  One part of this this that I have not revealed is my wife and I live in Idaho Falls, Idaho so we are doing all of this via long distance communications which is extremely difficult for a project this size.  Anyway, Dan was able to have a rendering of our dream pool drawn up and delivered to us two days later so we could make our departure date.  It goes without saying we went with Edgewater Custom Pools and Landscaping.  Dan said we would be contacted by an individual once we were able to get all of our HOA approvals.  After receiving everything we needed to get started, I notified Edgewater Custom Pools and Landscaping and the fun began.  I was then contacted by an individual by the name of Stevens.  Like Dan, Stevens was extremely knowledgeable, polite and very helpful with guiding us through the process of selecting the proper decking and coving for our pool.  His assistance was second to none in the selection of colors so everything matched and went together well.  Once this process was completed, Stevens said we would be hearing from Ari, a point of contact for Edgewater Custom Pools and Landscaping letting us know when they would start to get the ball rolling.  What we fully understood latter in the build was that Ari was the angle on the Christmas tree for us.  She, like Dan and Stevens, is extremely knowledgeable, polite and very pleasant to deal with. Ari was the individual that contacted us about every aspect of the pool building scheduled.  She let us know when and what phase was starting along with what phase was ending and how much we owed for that phase.  Remember, as we mentioned above, we live in Idaho and the pool is being built in Mesquite NV.  Ari was our lifeline to this construction project of ours.  We are currently almost complete with everything just short of some minor cleanup details.  I also failed to mentioned when Dan showed up the day of the bid, he took pictures of everything so when they were done, they knew how put everything back the way it was with a pool in the middle of it all.  Our pool turned out fantastic and we love it.  I would highly recommend Edgewater Custom Pools and Landscaping in Las Vegas and surrounding areas to whomever is looking at building a pool.  I know, if we were to do it again, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to use them a second time. Their entire staff that we dealt with is exceptional with a knowledge base riveled by none. We highly recommend Edgewater Custom Pools!  We couldn’t be any happier with our cocktail pool and it is exactly what we envisioned.  It’s perfect for us!  Our project was even completed earlier than expected.  We were impressed with the organization of the process from the initial design to completion.  It takes an experienced team with great skills to be as successful as they are at pool building.  All of the staff and crews are exceptional at what they do.  They are very professional, competent and friendly.  I have to give a special shout out to Ariadna Jimenez.  She was there for me every time I had a question, concern or needed an update on the progress for every phase.  She responds immediately with a smile.  She is knowledgeable, organized professional, attentive, and caring.  Ariadna is a crucial member of the team that keeps the progression of the project moving forward.  She juggles a lot of responsibilities.  I am a very detailed personality and need to know what’s happening and she always kept me informed.  I can’t imagine going through this project without her.  I believe we have the best constructed pool possible!  I am confident that Edgewater Custom Pools will be here for us for many years for any maintenance as well! After reviewing four local pool companies, we chose Edgewater Pools, and we could not be happier with our decision. From our first meeting with Mike F., we knew we were working with a company that truly cared about the customer experience. Mike took the time to understand our vision, explain the process in a way that made sense to us as homeowners, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Throughout the design process, he was patient, knowledgeable, and helped us make informed decisions about what made sense to include now versus what could be added later. Ariadna was our main point of contact throughout the project, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was always quick to respond to our many questions and made us feel comfortable reaching out throughout every stage of the process. As first-time pool builders, we appreciated her patience, professionalism, and willingness to keep us informed. Anastacia was amazing with our blueprints, HOA plans, and landscaping design. We changed our minds multiple times with plant selections and layouts, and she was always patient and willing to help us visualize our ideas. Mike S. also went above and beyond during our material selections, taking the time to explain options and even showing us how our spray deck color choices would look in the sunlight, which helped us make the right decision. Roberto, one of our superintendents, kept the project moving and was always approachable and happy to answer our questions. It was clear the team had great communication and worked well together. We especially appreciated that Edgewater relies primarily on their own employees rather than subcontracting. Watching their team work together throughout the project showed the pride and teamwork they bring to their work. They are also a Veteran-friendly company, and we appreciated the respect, service, and professionalism they demonstrated throughout the entire process. Had the best experience working with Edgewater on my pool. They constantly kept me updated on each step, and I never had to question when the next phase would begin. They are also extremely helpful with design decisions after I explained the look that I wanted. They were extremely efficient too, and I have my pool up and running before Summer which I did not expect. Edgewater Custom Pools did an amazing job on our entire pool and backyard project! From construction to the final build, the pool looks amazing, everything was handled professionally, on time, and efficiently. The workers were very hardworking, quick and on time, and did great quality work, while the office staff was always reliable and responsive. Construction timelines were met. Estimation of hours spent drilling through caliche were accurate. It's important to factor that into your budget. Used a fantastic sub contractor for our overhang. Couple issues at the finish with water clarity and jets, pushed us back a week. Ownership came out and made sure everything was fixed and also personally walked us through the ins and outs of the pool (pool school) I thought was very generous.
